• Boot the machine and input user information and input initial user settings
• Configure an internet connection
• Install any additional software (if any) you would like installed on the new system
• Orient you with the specifics of your new computer and the features is has so that you can get the most out of the machine.

A new computer setup generally takes 1-2 hours depending on the number of peripherals and additional software the user wants installed.
